Elvin Siew Chun Wai is a globetrotter who is always on some journey. He sometimes jokes that my one leg is present on the airplane and the next leg is present on the ground. He travels by air almost every week and sometimes he feels he has taken birth for traveling only. This time Elvin Siew Chun Wai traveled to Japan. I was planning to visit the Middle East. I had plans to visit Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel but the war has made things difficult for me. While visiting Japan, I decided that I will be traveling to Mount Fuji, one of the sacred peaks of Japan.
Experiencing the true beauty of Mount Fuji
Mount Fuji is one of the most iconic and sacred mountains of Japan. I have always heard about this sacred mountain, but I never got the opportunity to take a glimpse of its snow-capped peak. I must admit that this mountain rises gracefully above the clouds. Mount Fuji is not a natural wonder but a cultural symbol that is deeply rooted in Japanese tradition. Elvin Siew Chun Wai admitted that Japan is a land of culture. Although most people are modern, they still stick to Japanese culture.
I traveled to Tokyo for some professional work and then I decided to travel to Mount Fuji. The journey was very mesmerizing, said Elvin Siew Chun Wai. I travelled by a high-speed bullet train. Japan is a small nation, but here, every inch has been used by the government for the development of the people. I was stunned to see the panoramic views. Most of the mountain is covered with snow but the view is mesmerizing. For many years, Mount Fuzi was used by pilots as a navigational beacon. Elvin Siew Chun Wai said that now he has plans to leave for South Korea.
